NaNo Thoughts
It’s been a year since I wrote Fiction Murdered, and one of the main complaints about it was it’s lack of voice. For my novel this month, I’m trying really hard to make the voices different. Voice is one of my troubles — I think the problem was in Mutants too even though no one mentioned it.
I’m also trying to avoid “said” or “ask” tags. It’ll be interesting.
My prose is going to be short and brief. I’m not going to try to make it beautiful — and why would it? Sophie is writing it on the fly in an abandoned building.
This will be a new experience I think. I’m looking forward to it.
